What inspired you to join this band?

Playing music has always been a part of my life from an early age. I started playing guitar when I was 8 and have been very blessed to have been raised in a musical family. I enjoy sharing my musical talents with others by playing guitar as an accompaniment with my family, at mass, or playing music with my brother at a local bar! Playing in a band was always a goal of mine and when the opportunity came to start Mid-Flight, it was a no brainer!

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Frederic Chopin....kidding! This is a tough one being I have so many! I would have to say currently it is John Meyer with his ability to play and sing. Other artist that inspired me early on were guys like Roy Clark, Glen Campbell, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Page....the list goes on.

What instruments can you play outside of the one you play with Mid-Flight?

None, but if I did pick up another instrument to learn, it would have to be the saxophone.

Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of music?

I enjoy wrenching on cars, going on motorcycle rides, fishing or enjoying the lake, being outdoors, and hanging with my family.

What's your favorite song to perform live, and why?

I really enjoy all the songs we play live. Each song has its own unique challenges and parts.

What has been your favorite performance with Mid-Flight?

There have been many memorable performances. The one I remember most was our first performance as a group at Shattuck's Hub Supper Club. We were all nervous, but pulled it off and had a great time!

Anything grilled!
